The opening reception for the Art in the City 2010 exhibit was held last Friday, April 30 at the West End Community Centre. My loyal family and friends were there to cheer me on ... or was it for the free drinks? Anyways, thank you everyone for coming out! The organizers did a really good job serving wine, cheese and other nibblies and goodies donated by the Listel Hotel.

The exhibit through-out the weekend was great. A lot of people came by and even though the Vancouver Marathon was held on Sunday, the traffic closures were over by 11-ish and the streets were back to normal. We closed at 2pm on Sunday which was a wee bit early. I hope next year the organizers consider extending the hours. I'll be back and I hope you can join me!
